Ken VanEseltine's Cat | |
Bianca Bianca (Italian for "white") was the underdog of a pair of cats we brought home one day. She was picked first because the last cat we had was also a mostly-white calico. Another of Bianca's endearing features was six toes on each of her front paws, the same as our first cat. As she grew older, she never lost her kitten playfulness. Every evening, she finds something to carry to the slick linoleum kitchen floor. There she will entertain herself for hours, batting it across the floor and scampering after it until she loses it under the stove or refrigerator. Throughout the daylight hours, she is quite happy to remain indoors, taking catnaps in a pool of warm sunlight. |
