Converted by Carron and Company a highly regarded automotive prototype fabricator located in Inkster, Michigan. The cost of this car was $65,000. This car is a stretch converted Model 53A sedan with a 1970 Lincoln front end. It was a one-off limousine custom built for comedian Jackie Gleason. Some of the features on the car was a bright framed thin horizontal-bar grill that partially concealed the headlights. It had a rear-mounted spare tire that extended into a deep bumper pocket. In the rear was a power-operated sun roof and built into the windshield header was a wide angle rear view mirror to possibly help eliminate blind spots. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
