Queen's '59 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham Town Car Custom show car built by Cadillac in 1956

Artist rendition of a landau limousine custom built for Queen Elizabeth during her June 18-August 1 visit to Canada in 1959. The Queen's '59 had a transparent plexiglas rear section on a regular 75 body.

Thanks to Al Navis for an update on these photos. (7/22/06) This artist's rendering above probably was supposed to be the vehicle that GM contributed to the Royal Tour, but if that one was built, it wasn't used for that Tour. Instead, Chrysler and Ford also were invited to construct limousines for the Tour. The two pictures of the 1959 Imperial which were used are below.

1957-58 Cadillac Limited Edition Eldorado Brougham Town Car Car debuted in 1955 for the 1956 Motorama tour.

1959 Ghia Imperial Crown Limousine This car was also built for the Queen's tour of Canada, with a bubble-top and flagpole.
