1973 Chrysler Newport Limousine

1973 Chrysler Newport Brougham Limousine, conversion by Armbruster/Stageway of Ft.Smith AK. This is a 6 door airport/limo and very rare since Armbruster/Stageway mainly converted Chrysler New Yorker and Imperial 8-door cars, very few 6-door Newports were ever converted.

I bought this in 1992 from a church in Otsego, MI, the previous owner was a funeral home in Kalamazoo, MI I started to modify the rear compartment, building a divider with a working power division window which was not original to the car. I removed the middle 2 door handles (inside and outside) and took out the middle bench seat, I have the handles and seat, these can be reinstalled to bring the car back to its original condition (6-door, 3 bench seat). It has the original vinyl top which is dryed and needs replaced. Has a rear AC unit in trunk but AC would need work.

A 440 engine that runs however it has a fuel line problem and would need a tune-up, Brakes and transmission work, has exhaust leak. The car would need to be trailered (bumper-to-bumper car length: 22 ft.: wheelbase : 13' 2")

You do not see these at car shows, it is a unique car with only 53110 miles on it and would make a good winter project car so it will not be sold as scrap to be crushed, so serious inquires only.

I'm asking $1600.00. NO PAYPAL! Payment will be Cash or Cashier check only.

Call afternoons or evenings only please at 269-349-0137, leave message if no answer, we will then set up a time (face-to-face) for the financial transaction and your pickup of the vehicle.
