In 2002, I was starting to look for my next puppy; Carlin was five years old, after all. So I looked at a lot of litters and talked to a lot of folks. Breeders Sharon Redmer, Mary & George Byrkit didn't really expect I would find what I was looking for in this litter but they welcomed me to come look. Well, at five weeks, it was pretty clear that one of those puppies had the energy, drive and focus to join my gang. Sure enough, we all agreed that baby Coral, as she was known, would come home to Beeken.

Ringer, also known as Binger, has been living up to expectations! I showed her in UKC conformation as a baby with excellent results: in her first show she was awarded Best Female in Breed over competition from Groenendael, Malinois and Tervuren! Judge Larry Hostetler wrote: "Your puppy is a real beauty and such a wonderful temperament, it was a real pleasure to judge her".

So, she was started in tracking, obedience, agility and conformation when she broke both bones in her front leg in April 2003. It wasn't exactly the trip to the ABTC 2003 national that I had imagined...!

After three months in a cast and another three months of re-hab, Ringer came roaring back. At the 2004 ABTC national she earned her TD in grand style under judges Moe Foley & Pam German.

Ringer has played in agility with excellent results in Jumpers, earning her NAJ in 2005.
